Mercy Health Partners, a seven hospital health system, based in Knoxville, TN, seeks BC/BE urologist for it St. Mary’s Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Baptist Hospital of Cocke County facilities. This physician will be a part of Urology Consultants of Knoxville, a six member well-established urology group that is recruiting a general urologist to work in their new satellite offices at the Jefferson and Cocke County hospitals. There is no hospital call. The physician practice will be based out of St. Mary’s Jefferson Hospital where there is a very active medical staff with over 20 primary care referring physicians and many full time subspecialty physicians including cardiology, pulmonary/critical care, and orthopedic surgery. Both hospitals have excellent imaging capabilities with a 64 – slice CT scanner and MRI.
Jefferson City, thirty minutes from Knoxville, sits in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, where many people are retiring for its beauty and quality of life. The Cocke County facility is in Newport, TN is 30 minutes from the St. Mary’s Jefferson facility and is within five miles of the Great Smoky Mountains. With beautiful area lakes and parks, there are great recreational opportunities. Live on or near the lake, enjoy out door life and practice urology in a wonderful area of the country.
